I had lots of fun putting this together, and I hope it captures the fun spirit of the original piece. That said, we are a little off the beaten path when it comes to the melody, though what I came up with is all inspired by motives in Polska från Norrbotten. The open phrases, for example, are based on the ascending runs at the end of the B section.

My lead guitar tone is based on two amps (modeled) running in stereo, hard panned left and right, and is running into logic through my audio interface. The video is from a single live take that was synced up with my logic session. Apologies in advance for irresponsible use of iMovie filters. That performance was then dual tracked (with the stereo pans reversed) for an extra wide sound. I programmed the drums and bass parts, and tracked the rhythm guitar part.
