Hey! I'm Nyxy, an 18 year old guitarist and singer/songwriter from Los Angeles. For my entry, “Norbotten Nights”, I wanted to create a modern 7-string rendition of the polska which captures the mysticism and contrasts of the dramatic nature in Norrbotten. I stayed true to the original 3/4 time signature, but reharmonized the melody using several new chord progressions.
